Michelle Steele
Health & Safety Division Chief
With 29 years of service, Michelle has served as an Infection Control Nurse and Peer Support member for over 20 years.

Humberto Quintela
Health and Safety Chief Fire Officer
Chief Humberto J. Quintela has been with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue for 24 years. He has been involved in training and programmatic development of the MDFR Peer Support, Chaplaincy as well as the Crisis Response K-9 programs.

Jose Chavarria
Health / Crisis Counselor
Jose joined the MDFR family in 2024 and has worked in the mental health field since 2016. As the Health & Crisis Counselor, he provides free, confidential mental health counseling to all MDFR personnel and their families.

Shawn Campana
K-9 Coordinator
Crisis Response K-9 Coordinator and Team Lead for support canine initiatives.

Alex Trinchet
Chaplaincy Coordinator
Chaplaincy Coordinator and Team Lead providing spiritual care to department members.

Fred de Frias
Peer Coordinator
Marine Corps veteran and counselor. Fred has been a member of the MDFR family since 2006 and became a licensed mental health counselor in 2022. He now serves as the Peer Support Coordinator.

Natalia Duran
Intake Coordinator
Natalia Duran is a dedicated public safety professional, advocate for responder wellness, and passionate leader within the emergency communications and fire service community.

Marvin Grace
Team Lead
The youngest of 5, joined the U.S. Navy at 18 and have been serving others ever since. Marvin began his MDFR journey in 1999 with Class 84 and now serves on the Peer Support Team.

Randal Scott Jr.
Team Lead / Chaplain
Randall serves as an MDFR Chaplain and a Peer Support Lead, offering guidance, emotional support, and spiritual care to department members.

Adam Parks
Team Lead
Adam serves as a Peer Support Team Lead, offering steady guidance and practical support to all members of the MDFR family. He has proudly served as a peer since 2016.

Howard Brown
K-9 Admin
Howard has been an MDFR member since 2004 and serves as the Crisis Response K-9 Administrator and Peer support member since 2020.

Montego Estes
Crisis K-9 Support
FF Montego Estes has been with MDFR since 2004. He spent 20 years in operations and became a member of peer support and K-9 peer support in 2019.
